B.A.C.A. Supporter

Are you interested in joining the Rhode Island chapter of Bikers Against Child Abuse™ but don’t ride a motorcycle or feel like you don’t have the time to fully commit to the chapter? Then a supporter role may be right for you.

Supporters play an important role in the chapter and greatly assist in the success of the B.A.C.A.® mission. A supporter must be just as motivated, committed and eager as a patched member to do everything possible to empower B.A.C.A.® children and accomplish our mission to create a safer environment for abused children. The primary difference simply being that you are unable to maintain an 80% participation level.

As a supporter, you can attend all B.A.C.A.® events, including interacting with our children and escorting them to court. You’ll receive a set of supporter patches, including your road name, to wear on a vest.

You will not, however, earn a back patch, become a primary to a child or have voting privileges – but you will have a voice and be able to share opinions with the chapter.

To become a supporter you must:

  • Pass an FBI background check
  • Participate in the B.A.C.A.® training program

What do we look for in a B.A.C.A.® supporter?

  • Commitment – to the mission and to meet full supporter requirements.
  • Courage – to do whatever it takes to protect a B.A.C.A.®
  • Passionate – about the B.A.C.A.®
  • Honourable – live by a set of ethical principals.
  • Loyal – to the mission and your brothers and sisters.
  • Respect – shown and earned.
  • Trustworthy – be true to your word and be reliable.
  • Integrity – doing the right thing, even when no one is looking.
